Owning a yacht is great, but a lot of people who do own one don’t actually use it all that much. Although they may not want to sell it, it can seem wasteful to own one when the upkeep and mooring of the yacht can cost a significant amount of money, so they may have no choice but to find a solution to the issue.

The solution comes down to two options; either you sell the yacht or your rent it out to other people. Selling a yacht has the benefit of once it is done you don’t have to worry about it, and all you need to do is rent a boat for the few weeks that you want to use it. Renting it out gives you a lot more freedom, but managing the different people renting it can be a time consuming task, and you’re never guaranteed to rent it out for a significant portion of the year.
